Hi guys, which brake kit would you go for option 3 or 4.
For the VY upgraded brakes on the JHP site.

If you go the M Series, you have to use their brake pads there are no other options. The AP kit is awesome but unless you are going to be racing the car, they are overkill. You could get some Brembo brakes front and rear for about 2.5k from the V Series Cadilac in the States. There is a guy on another forum importing them with adaptor plates.

What's the upgrade for? If it's only street use then option 1 would still be a significant improvement over a standard VY setup (assuming you don't have a HSV, not sure what your car is)

It's a VT GTS with occasional track use and drag racing, but mainly a daily driver.

the HSV/AP racing caliper is the same as a brembo caliper, fitted to HSV VE E1-2 & 3, just different screen printing of the brand label, I worked at hsv fitting them on the Prod line. it could be cheaper to hunt around also. hsv have old stock sales now and then worth the call to clayton.

or there is this: http://holmart.com.au/online/prod1079.htm

Whats the difference between the AP and the PBR, because the PBR's are nearly $4000 cheaper and I cant see any benefit.

No it's not
The GXP had Brembo brakes all other HSV cars have AP Brakes. They are significantly different.
