Who has fitted an Aussie Desert Cooler into a second gen Commodore?

I have one with fans. I may have posted previously about it arriving with bent locating pins but all of that has been sorted. This thing is thick as hell so I'm curious as to how people are getting them to fit- does it need new mounting brackets fabbed up?

I'm not looking for a thread about how poor these things are, or how good Race Radiators are, I'm really just interested in people who have personally fitted one and how it all went. I don't want to scratch the **** out of it trial fitting it.

Any advice?
