Who is a Fan or is against VR / VS Clear Lights

im not a fan. i guess they could look good on a car that is done up right but i wouldnt get them on my VR. they just look distracting and out of place.

too ricey for me. holden does a reasonably decent job with their styling.

i like both the altezza and standard-style clear lights, but on cars where it looks the part.
my mates tiger vs has chrome altezzas and it looks mint, but then there's a white acclaim with them on, stock height, (hurl) :bop:
i wanted a set of black altezzas for the calais, then it went to the chromies, then the frosted white standard style ones with LED globes in them. then i settled (so far) for a tin of spray tint and tinted the standard lenses.

here's a couple ideas i reckon would be awesome:
1. if the rear garnish strip came out in the same style as the altezza chrome or black step style backing, covered with a clear plastic lens. then you could put coloured globes in it for show
2. if they designed LED style tail lights, similar to the VE HSV models, with matching garnish strip

They only look good on VT's, VX's, Monaro's, Altezza's, Lancer's (SOME) and BMW's

The rest of the cars they're put on they look pretty much EWW.

Now i reckon, BLACK STYLE vs/VR lights wouldn't look too bad.

I'm in between on this subject. For me it depends on the colour of the car. Some just look tacky and other look really good. Like a black VR/VS. I think the black altezza's suit.

I reckon they look awful but each to their own.
