Should have got one at the swap meet!....the cheapest way I've found is to use a new pump which has a plastic male end in/out and plumb it into the existing washer fluid line as near as possible to the old pump. This will then suck fluid thru the old pump and up to the jets. Last one I got was from SuperCheap for about $11 but this was for my old Jag.

If it is the same as my VR there is a filter on one end of pump of the washer bottle...
Does it sound like it's trying to work? If so, follow the wires going to where it goes into the washer bottle and take the whole pump out by just pulling it. It's got two lugs on either side so it just comes out with a little force.
Now just clean out the filter. Its on the pump or bottom of washer bottle, cant quite remember...

Should have looked further.

Pulled the Washer Pump/Motor out and just now the Rubber Filter.

WOW!!!!:whistling:whistling
Looked like a GIANT Goobie...........A Whopping BIG Snottie
hanging out of the Filter.

Removed it.....Yes:D
Picked it out.

In the Wash Water container was a whole lot more of this Substance......Euch!!!

Washed with Hot water and given a good rinse.

Now:thumbsup:

Hey mate,

Good on you for getting it working again. Ive actually had to clean mine 2 or 3 times in the 5 years that I have owned the VR. Not sure what the substance is that blocks the filter, but it blocks it up pretty good.

Yeah it's a mongrel, So is if you use too much detergent, and if you put bore water into it. Tiny little bits and pieces can get caught up.
Just make sure you don't use Ice Coffee. :D
