Wireless Problem??

Hey Guys

I have a intermitent wireless problem.

I have a telstra ADSL 2 modem and a D-Link wireless router

my intermitent problem is that every so often the modem refuses to talk to the router i called telstra and they said that the router was broken and we needed to get a new one... So we did and tonight it has done it again with the new router. I am able to fix it when i remove the power from the router.

Can someone help me resolve this issue? its begining to piss me off

Trried changing the firmware on the D-Link?

One of the most annoying modems and wireless routers myself and few others i know have had, thats D-Link. Many many issues, intermittent as well.

Try checking to see if there is a firmware update for the D-Link, might be a common issue

Should of just invested in a TP Link wireless router. I would check the firmware and go from there. Tried changing the port for the wireless router?

ive got a similar problem with my pc everytime i copnnect after say 2 or so hours my pc auto disconnects me but my adsl + 2 modem and my laptop thingy are connected and show excellent signal it pisses me off and i have to keep waliing down stairs to re boot the dam thing every 15 min keeps doing it? its 1 of those d link modems i think we tried netgear and that was awfull can some1 help me out?
