Wiring reverse lights after manual conversion

How did you go with the reverse wiring mate

Mick: I had the same issue with reverse lights after converting my 96 VS Berlina wagon to a getrag 5spd.
Your solution of bridging one of the blue wires from the power/economy switch loom to the green wire which went to the auto trans gear selector switch solved the problem.

Btw, of all the treads that I have read on this site you are the only person who was able to provide a remedy to that particular wiring problem (getrag 5spd) which avoids the need to rewire directly from the auto trans gear selector switch wiring loom to the reverse light sensor loom on the transmission

Hi guys. Im having similar problems with my revese lights, ive done the wiring changes Mick suggested, still nothing at tail lights. Looking into switch itself next , any additional advice would be greatly appreciated. Ty
