on a hot day 30-40degree, first attempt at starting , engine will start but drops down below low idle and stops , 2nd attempt just cranks over wont fire,
3rd attempt give a bit of throttle and it fires up and goes into cold mode until warm and comes back to normal idle , have replaced all vacuum hoses and checked all earths , got me beat as its not throwing up any codes,
otherwise car is running okay ,has any one else had this problem or similar ??? cheers

Because a faulty Crank sensor won’t always throw codes.

They are a common cause of start or engine running problems when air temps are high or the car has been running.

Located back from drivers side manifold. One bolt. Straight forward to do and not an expensive part.
