WRX, and Evo are both old hat these days with the new turbo 4 Benz the new kid on the block..
As was said, its just a pissing match. I would be happy with any of the hair dryer 4s.

This is retarded. Okay yes the original question about the '99 WRX being faster than a VE (whatever year it was, can't remember). No way, but a side note. If you spent the cash that you saved from buying the WRX instead of the VE, and then put that money into the WRX. It would definitely win.
