I purchased a VE SS sedan, has a lumpy cam and a full xforce system 1 7/8 headers with 2.5 inch catback, this one has middle mufflers with 2 rear mufflers.
Now the car sounds incredibly loud on cold start, and although it doesnt sound to bad when just cruising around , it sounds like a v6 on steriods at full song..
Unsure if anyone else had same issue, am looking at either replacing rear mufflers or a different catback

X force systems aren’t known for their great sound mate you’d really need to change the cat back system for something else

Dunno , good thing is xforce cats sit same factory posn so i can put on anything.
Manta quiet 2.5inch or hurricane.
As for performance goes the 2.5inch feels pretty snappy

I would change the cat back to something else, I prefer the sound of the Manta.
