UPDATE 3.50PM: Police have found a baby that was inside a car stolen in Canberra's north on Thursday afternoon.

yes she stopped to help someone, and he then stole the car with the kid in the back.

Last update I heard was that the kid has been found but the guy who stole the car hasn't. No idea if he dumped both the car and kid or just the kid.

the article has been edited since i read it, at the time it only said that the baby had been found.
