v6 stroker? wat sort of power is expected?

hey guys im considering stroking motor vn v6 although the motor was only rebuilt 20,000kms ago if i can get around the 160rwkw mark i will go for a stroker otherwise i guess im looking at charging but would rather keep it n/a.

Off memory I'm pretty sure the ecotec strokers from COME are running about 230kw, so that's around 170rwkw. Strokers are more so about the torque rather than power though.

a basic COME stroker kit (4.2 V6) had about the same output as a stockish Holden V8.

as Blown V6 Hatch said "Not enough for the outlay IMO..."

Why is "power" so important? Do you have a little dick?

People are too obsessed with how much "power" their car makes....it doesn't make power, it produces torque, from which this mythical "power" figure is calculated.

i was only asking just seeing wat the best bang for my buck and as blown v6 hatch has said not enough power considering the outlay you twat.
think im just gunna get a nice cam roller rockers and a cold air intake that should be enough for wat i want.

make sure you get a good stall with that set up if ur doing it to an auto...

My point is that power means nothing. People are too obsessed with how much power they can make when it is irrelevent. Power might win arguments, but torque wins races.

I always thought stroke = more torque, bore out = more power. Why are you hesitant to go down the forced induction path? Plenty of gains to be had there.
