Engine noise in vs v8 at idle

Hi guys, iv just recently notice that at idle the engine rocks alot and sometimes has a rattle or knock, its dissapeares as soon as i apply some revs. Im wondering what idle rpm its meant to have? Mine looks like it sits at 400rpm. Any ideas???

mine idles at 575.650 with lights on....its a hsv 185 i but i dont think that maks a diff...why yours revs lower at the momment i have no idea lol im off to bed. if some 1 dont answer you ill get back to you later...cheeers

mate i'd have a look at engine mounts they might be a bit worn
when you apply a few revs it probably will take the rock out of it if the mounts are shot

sitting a 400 rpm at idle sounds a bit low ,
do a diagnostic check see if any codes are thrown up like tps or iac
might not hurt to check timing as well

yeah, idle too low so its nearly stalling.
