I have a set of King SL Springs out of a VZ Sedan complete with Front Struts and Rear Shocks.

Struts and Shocks appear to be original height (Police Pack FE 2)

Can someone give me an idea what the value would be

Only worth what someone is willing to pay, it's like asking how long a piece of string is?

It's all used gear, do you know how many miles the shocks have done? This is important as shocks do have a service life.

See what new springs are worth and than assume you might get about 1/2 of that.

Thanks for the quick reply, I thought as you do, about half new price, and the k's would be about 60000, so not a lot of k's by any means.

I paid $40 for each pair of kingsprings second hand. Put them on ebay at 99c and they'll sell for whatever they're worth.

I think Monroe have a 2 year/40,000 or 50,000 km warranty. Arguably the most popular replacement shock on the market. Most shocks will probably still be working fine at that sort of mileage but how long will they last and work at an optimum level? Who knows.

Funnily enough, here in NZ they do not test shock absorber function when doing a WOF test and yet a faulty or tired shock absorber will adversely effect how a car handles and brakes etc.
