falken 452 still all the rage?

452s have been replaced with 453s

I have Falken 453's and if I had my time again I would go the KU39's. There is a guy who tracks his car and buys tyres pretty regularly. He recommends the KU39's over the falkens and his previous KU31's (which are noisy) tyres.

KU39s wear a lot quicker than the KU31's. Noisy tyres are irrelevant if you have a proper exhaust!!

Is the falken 452's still all the hype like I see on most threads about VE tyres...

I have stock bridgestone re50a's on all fours. My fronts have heaps of life left, It's just my rears that need replacing. They went through 50,000kms so I'm happy with that. But they are way too expensive at $550 each (redline ute)

Its ethier the kumho k31s or the falken 452s

Tyre size is 245/40/19

Get the Bridgestones. They saw you coming if they want 500 each.

Shop around. I have seen for less than 300 ea. Remember to get 98W not 94W. 94W is for sedan only.

Just got a set of 453's which replace the 452.

Great in the dry.... downright scary in the wet! Thank god the ute is a weekender only now.

245/35/19 size.

I have had two sets of 452s on a VE sportswagon and now a set of 453s.

The are both brilliant tyres, wet and dry!

I've got Pirelli P-Zeros on my ute, great in the wet and the dry. Got them for $245 ea at Jax in Bayswater.
