Nup not a LS7 Clutch, got a better one.

Besides Hama, i'd get a new flywheel either way so be $900 for that setup off Holmart (and could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere anyway :p)

What i got is a full clutch, flywheel, spigot etc kit.

Then decided #### it, get a new slave while i was at it.

My other stuff should be here in 2 weeks or so.

Also picked these up today :)

So decided to install the clutch and **** today, had a mate come round to help out.

Didn't wanna spill brake fluid and any other leaks on the new concrete (and I'm still waiting on the electrician to come round and finish up) so outside in the carport it was.

img_0628.jpg

The to-do list was:

Install new clutch, flywheel, slave cyl and remote bleeder.
Install new Fuel Pump
Replace rear main seal while gearbox was out (i thought it was only weeping a bit like usual, #### no it wasn't, bell-housing was covered in oil grime)
Fit up new front splits and amp finally.......

So many hours later the list grew a tad and some got striked off.

Whoever decided that the T56 bell-housing on a LS1 needed a bolt in the top dead ####ing center needs to be culled for the good of the rest of us.

Clutch, flywheel, slave and remote bleeder installed along with reinstalling the gearbox
New walbro fuel pump is installed.
Rear main all replaced.

New To-Do list for Sunday:

Replace Center bearing in tail-shaft as i found it was half ####ed when removed and reinstall it.
Replace the Rear Rubber tailshaft Donut thingymabob.
Bleed Clutch
Refit Exhaust System
Install Speakers and Amp.

Clutch was more ####ed then i realized, been driving it with only minor slippage when high rev shifting and only occasionally, take it out of the car, HOTSPOTS EVERYWHERE!, plates are slightly wavy :p, twas ####ed.

Bout the time i went #### it, will finish tomorrow.

My day looks pretty cruisy compared to yours.
I went to the beach and got darker, came home and watched the V8 Supercars (fantastic racing)
Went for a 5km walk. Felt up my tennis elbow whilst walking and came home and washed car and waxed it as been about a month.
So yeh

Back to you, you did well. lol

Oh wait, on Friday i installed a rear glass sunshade thingy with suction cups
Seeing as against the law to go darker, i do this instead.

:)

lol smart ass uniacidz.

Well cars all back together and running now.

Spent 3 hours trying to find a joint open on Sunday that actually had a center bearing for a VX SS, finaly found out a ursons about 25km away is open sundays and boom they had 1 left.

So Tailshaft center bearing replaced.
Clutch Bled.
Exhaust all fit up
Starter motor fitted up (forgot to do so yesterday :p)

Speakers didn't happen, couldn't ####ed after having to swing the hammer alot to get the tailshaft apart :p

Took it for a drive, clutch all bedded in and car is driving good now.

No more leaks from the rear main either :)

Probably do the speakers next weekend if i cbf'd.

Haha man

Good work you did.
I been meaning to upgrade my stereo for the last 2 years. lol but it does fine for me, enough bass and crappy headunit works so isnt a rush for me.

But im hearing ya with the CBF'd.

After i did the roof lining, i was knackered and only wanted to drive it and rest. :)

Good on ya Dirb, should run sweet now.
Whats with the upgraded injectors - planning a big power boost?? Standard ones are meant to be good for 300 or so RWKW's.
