Why stock?

Why do people like their vn vp vr and their vs to be stock? Why do people hate body kits and stuff? Seriously they are commodore, not classic cars, you see stock commodores everywhere. Some kits look stupid as well as tail lights etc but they are ugly cars especially the vn and vp and i think anything looks better than the stock bumpers etc. Just my opinion tho, whats yours

Cars with their stock kits look way cleaner, you'll realise this when you get older. I don't mind it if it's like the base model fitted with a sports model kit though, VY Berlina with an SS kit for example.

My Ride:
SS with stock SS kit, Higher spec HSV senator wheels, stock FE2 Height, stock interior. I think it looks great.
Look deeper though, VT & VE brakes, Stroker, alloy heads, cam etc... about twice the factory HP on tap. And the engine bay still looks mostly stock.

Just saying; body kit and oversize stupid wheels just looks silly and sounds like a waste of money to me.

Because some people have other priorities than spending thousands of dollars on looks that don't change any of the fundamentals of the car. Not to mention, most "aftermarket" kits have awful fitment.

IMHO, there aren't many good kits or wheels for the Commodore either. Most look terrible to me.

Lol, I keep my body work stock for very good reason and because fluff spending cash on things that only serve vanity.

Plus it's fun to drop a jaw or two.
