Last time I had my ABS come on was due to a bad relay in ABS module, I changed the module with a second hand one and fixed the issue.
Does your symptoms or your friends symptoms sound like this persons problem?

No, what's your point I was just saying how things can do strange things on computer module. I said to get a scan done to pin point it gee, wtf is wrong with people just making conversation.

Beauty Lex and Trevor, I’ll do that, thank you, I’ll let you know how it goes

@Nealeyboy
Is the Car drivable ?
Supercheap will be able to scan it, as there's on down there, opposite bunnings.
or
If you wish to venture to Beaumaris Area,
I will put my Tech2 on it, and let you know the results/codes, at least it will give you a starting point.
If you wish to take up the offer, PM me and I will pass on my Mob #

As Lex said earlier, disconnect the ABS module and if most of the problems go away you will need to replace the ABS module, just the black plastic part.
If nothing changes the problem will probably be the alternator, most likely overcharging.
Your airbag light could be a separate issue.

Yeh I went to Supercheap, they said that maybe steering wheel clock spring, ABS module or Faulty instrument cluster.
The alternator warning light has gone. When I drive the car the guages dont work and the ABS light is on, when i stop at intersection the guages start working again. I think my next move will be removing the ABS module.

If the ABS light is on then that will be causing the issue with the gauges. Did it pin point the issue like wheel sensors or module.

If it is the ABS Module,
You could probably pick one up at Jollys Wreckers in Dandy South,
I know there is a Heap of VX's & VY's in there.

Just unplug it first and see what happens.
It also wouldn't hurt to see how many volts the alternator is putting out. The fact that the gauges are not working when you are driving and then work while idling points towards the alternator in my mind
