Does it have the front camera at the top of the windscreen near the rear vision mirror? SSV's don't have it, only Redlines.

s1 ssv also has no hud.

The way to determine if a commodore is a genuine SSV Redline is to look at VIN Digit 5: Luxury Level as @chrisp suggested..

The luxury levels are:

K=Executive, SV6 (VE), SV8, SS (Omega VE) (VE SS Thunder), SV6000 (VZ 6L HSV)
L=Berlina (HSV
X=Calais (HSV VE Clubsport R8)
Z=Caprice
Y=Statesman
P=SSV
C=SS
B=SV6 (VF Commodore)
J=Calais V (VF)
E=SS V Redline (VF)
F=HSV Maloo (VF)
A=International

I’ve heard of people who build up base models to look like redlines or HSV’s so you can’t really go by the features on your vehicle. VIN is the only accurate way.

It's surprising the amount of people who think the Redline difference is just the Brembo brakes.

There are a few exceptions in certain years … SSV got the HUD in some years, sunroof & ‘premium sound system‘ in the sedan was Redline-only for the early years I believe, I don’t know if the SS-V ever got the Forg’ed alloys? Also I think in some years stuff like lane departure sensing, rain sensing.

Wider rears, steering tuned differently, launch control on manuals. There were a few bits and pieces. It seems towards the end of the VF2 Holden were chucking some Redline bits on the SS and SSV. Maybe surplus
