how fast is your vl???

I got factory 14's on my vh wagon, i timed its 0-100 the other day and ist like 16 seconds whaen I get the speedo fixed in the vl ill post the time:thumbsup:

nah, 2 different cars, vh is crap with workin speedo, and the vl is quick, but no speedo so i not sure how quick. with the 3.9 diff in it did 0-100 in bout 6 seconds!

My 308 makes 200rwkw, so is a bit hard to hold on to on any rubber when the roads wet, Im not trying ti start an argument here, just stating my experience. This isn't a "how sticky are your tyres" thread, so we should focus on the topic.

You must have **** tyres, i have almost 350 rwkw, in the wet, i have no issues driving sensibly.

And on a normal road what difference does IRS make to traction? None. On a flat surface, IRS has no advantage in the traction compartment... It only provides extra tracion on uneven surfaces....

Is your V8 Stock? If so thats a hell of an effort for a 124kw VL even with 3.9's. I also have 3.9's in my VN and I admit it makes a difference but not that much.

Thats just a guess, the engine builder said thats what i can expect. I reckon he's not far off, hangin out for the dyno day:thumbsup:

Minux, tyres were bridgestone turanza er30's, not the stickiest so dont help my cause. If anyone can recomend good tyres Im up for some new ones!
