So what about those little round helmet and lion head badges found on the VL bonnets ect.
I bought 2 to go ontop the the fender indicator of my VT as ive debadged it.
I dont want people to think its a HSV as it has S stickes on the doors.
Also i dont think ive seen a HSV off the floor with the stickers there

its a bit like people upgrading their interior to Calais specs or like buying calais trim to enhance their executive.trying to be something they are not. it will happen all the time just get used to it! Can't see any harm in it as it all adds to the experience of individualising you car! a good job we are all different and like different things.

I have a 'couple'
I have the holden motorsport logo badges on my car, because it's a Holden and used for motorsport. I don't try and pretend it's an HSV (IMHO, imitation kits look stupid). Really, I think there are really more important things to be worried about!

Im not to keen on the VN's with VX/VY clubsport kits ect.
But ive got to say there's nothing wrong with a standard VN with a full group A kit aslong as they hold back on the Group A decals and totaly debadge them.
They look tough

I call early models with late model kits (especially with no rear spoiler) sponge cakes, because it looks as the kit has kind of 'melted' down the sides of the bumper :whistling

I had a HSV badge on the outside of my car, cause it was the same size as my international badge, however i never call it an HSV (why would i, when a Calais international is just as good)

I do tho, have alot of HSV parts on it

like these
Custom Dash, with VS Speedo (250km/h)
DashFacia.jpg

VS Senator Console + Gearknob
StealthyCentreconsole.jpg

VS HSV CAI

Plus the geniune Grange Wheels, although painted Black

Also the Diff housing is from a V3 GTO, and the computer is from an SV90

Going by the replys in this thread, i shouldn't put HSV badges on it, even tho my car has more HSV features than any VP HSV came with

I find it funny, owning a hsv myself i take delight in pointing out the real ones it makes for a good bordem breaker on long trips but on the other hand i find it makes your own hsv seem a little less special or unique.
