Early Holdens

I think its Ok to put Chev badges on a Chev powered commie.**** it maybe a Holden but it has a Chev motor in it.What about the early Holdens that had a 350 or 307 in them im sure some of them had a bowtie badge on em.Should we go and bag them?Dont think so.

You are right, alot of early holden's had bow tie's on them, such as the HQ's
Which ran 350's 307's. It's a badge that reflect's a General Motors Company
vehicle.

gm holden is an australian based co. gm chevrolet is an american based company. the only reason holden exports are badged as chevs is cos in those countries holden doesn't exist. and the LS1 and LS2 are american engines holden asked GM detroit if they could be used. for ****s sake its a holden what more do u need 2 say

Imo unless theyre imported as chevs then they should stay badged as holdens. Just as VN2NV said, be proud of owning a holden. :thumbsup:
