im a bit lost, is this the standard kit from the castlemaine rod shop you guys are talking bout? coz i was looking at the same thing but wondered how far you could go with the kit........

Yes standard kit from CRS Though VK calais manual is a home made job. To get these going better they need a fair bit of modification they arent very well designed in standard kit. mainly the TB, piping and BOV are whats wrong with it. I know someone with a VR making 180kw @ wheels so about that is very good 200kw would be around the limit of flow potential for these chargers

Ok i suppose i should add that ecotec can make more power than the older v6's IBLOWN makes 220kw or something like that. That's mainly due to better base power and higher VE

so is there a list of mods anyone can send me or post up that wud get the kit performing better? how hard is it to produce the 220kw? im guessing thats at the engine?

and ur pulling 233kw? at the wheels? how much, including the standard kit has it put u back?

hasnt cost that much really
but i woldnt waste my time with crs kit again
mind you 6 yrs ago crs was only kit affordable all the others were like 9k+ now you would be silly to go crs cause 5k gets ya bolt on capas and stuff

good for bang for buck

so bloody tired of people going by dyno figures. yeah, those chargers can make good power, but seem very slow on the 1/4, thats where the low down power of a roots blower dominates. peak power readouts mean **** all to me. a cars power is proven on the track.
