Yeah mate, did all that and she's now running beautifully.

Final follow up - issue is due to coilpacks. Replacing all packs, plugs and gasket tomorrow.

So just an update, turns out the issue is a gearbox one. It's either going to be a Shift coil, or a full rebuild. Will know soon enough.

Thanks Pollushon, the diff was done maybe 2 years ago now? I mean it could be, it makes the most sense. I'm going to be booking it in for inspection this week, will provide results for what it is. Thanks for the advice and feedback. Greatly appreciated.

It was the pinion baring inside the diff.

No it has only started happening in the last 2 months. I bought it at 141, it's now got 193 and was fine up until then.

So just checked all the driveline bits, all feels solid with no play.

Yeah it seems to go from 1st, to 2nd to 3rd okay. Relatively smoothly for the 4 speed. I'll need to give the driveline a look tomorrow to see if anything is loose or has any play. The diff was only recently fixed up so I'm hoping its not that again. Though these are different symptoms to when...

Guy I work with said it could be clutch packs. It potentially could be the torque converter too. It seems to be whenever the car would normally gear down, it seems to hesitate and then shudders and such as a result.

I've had a visual inspection of the Harmonic Balancer and it looks to be fine. No cracks or anything are visible. I'd have to get the car up on stands to check over all the driveline stuff.
