    gday mark,

thanks for your reply. it took me ages to find it...newby here.

ahh ljs eh? me first car was a lj 73 torana s. metal blue. full instruments. mint condition. gtr steering wheel.
...but i was a bluddy fool and wanted a 'real' gtr with gills and badges - so sold me s and got a crap gtr - same colour.

mate i'd love that trimatic but wouldn't the shifters be on the wrong side for me hz? very kind of ya.
that trimatic manual would be lovely.

i (or rather my son) may be getting a vb commodore soon. red motor. hope it's a 202 and not 2850. unreg...

This seems to be a regular request from the emails I just read, so add another. Do you still make the brackets for the VT to VS brake booster conversion? Willing to pay. If not I am a mechanic so if you have a drawing then I could fabricate one myself. Any other traps with the job other than, centralising rings for discs, different flares on brake pipes, 113mm length on booster rod and possibly a new longer caliper hose.

    Hi Markovr,
I've just spent an hour reading threads re VS - VT brake upgrade.
As you seem to repeatedly offer genuine advice I was hoping I could clarify some Info.

    Vs Commodore
just fitted PBR twin piston brakes (link at bottom of PM)

From what I've read I'll be needing a VT master cylinder to fix the pedal travel, I cant how ever seem to find a complete step by step purely for the VS, and list of parts required.

I would assume some one has by now, do you know of any?

I am fairly handy, how ever I no longer have a home workshop so I'm going to have the master cylinder fitted professionally, I would like to save money and purchase the correct parts and a guide to hand to the mechanic.

any thing you could help with would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Pete
