You can do whatever you choose - don't know the legalities (in your case) !! Suggest you check with authorities.

Shouldn't bother. There's little to no support for boosted applications for the SIDI V6's in Australia.

isnt turboing cheaper.
i was thinking the same thing on my old ute before i bought my VE SSV. everyone was saying save the money and buy a V8, if thats the way you want to go instead. you could spend the money and get a nice V8, that is already quick from factory

Get a pile of cash and burn it. Same outcome. As said very little support in Aus for what your thinking of doing.

Hate to say this but if you want a turbo six you should get an XR6 Turbo. They really do hook along too.

You can do whatever you want, but it really is a massive waste of money.
If it cost 2-3k sure I'd do it, but isn't this sorta stuff up around the 8-12K mark?

If you have a good job and have paid your house off, go for it-but don't be another bogan droping every cent into a ute and have little to show for it.

You could plough $10k into it and still be slower than a Cammed up LS series of car. There is a solid reason everyone goes to V8 commodores to mod. Food for thought.
