I saw these on a black VF 2 not long ago. They looked soooo good !
Yes! I've seen them on a black MY16 Redline with the chrome window and front bumper trim, lowered nicely with dark window tint and the car was a standout to me and looked really good!

The full "black out" on black is too much black and isn't a look that inspires me.

Great stance on that Calais for a radical lowering! Note the front ride height matching the rear and maintaining the ideal roll axis for the suspension geometry. The popularity of dumping the rear only on the VE/VF platform, maximises understeer potential, the opposite of what's needed for a good handling vehicle.

There’s nuthin’ worse than getting back to your car & the rear guards are missing! I mean, how did they even do that?!

It may not be any big deal but I am happy to have these markings on my VF1 forged alloys. They were noticeably lighter than the SSV wheels when I changed them.
