Hey bud can u help me out, just got my timing chains done, and once the oil heats up around 1500 rpm the drivers side cam seems to be making a rattling noise, cold start it's fine

Hi there, doing my first set of chains.
New mace kit. First time in and I had the chain alarms come up again, tore it all down a gain. Setting it up this time it appears the tensioners don't hold enough tension on the chains. When you roll it over by hand the chains tend to sit up on the top and f the teeth of the cam sprocket.
Any ideas?

Hey mate, got code p0008 on my ve sv6 alloytech, so i ll be getting a chain kit and get it done by my mate who is a mechanic. Any specific brand of kit? Or just a cheap one is fine? Also what else should i be looking at? Water pump i believe?
