I'm looking to swap wheels on my SSV. Am about to buy a set of Redline wheels (19x8.5, 19x9) but just wondering if these will just simply replace the previous wheels, or will I need spacers?

That is a fantastic explanation. I was sceptical at first of getting the paint protection but after they explained the warranty I felt it a good deal. But having read your post I feel just as you've said.....a "sucker" and I think it's too late to withdraw the paint protection. This information...

I didn't get the redline, just got the standard SSV. As it's my first V8 and have no ambitions of doing track days I couldn't see the point in getting all the race equipment. The only thing I couldn't really afford to get was the Bose option.....would have loved that.

I guess it was the warranty that sold it for me, and getting both paint protection and tinting as a package - $1300, should I be crying? The car arrives in the dealer holding yard on Monday, would it be too late to cancel the paint protection?

VF Series 2 SS-V Sedan Manual $51,800. Floor mats, boot liner, Wing, Sunroof, paint protection and tinting in white. Bought in NSW, pick up next week Edited......Also found out they added Bose system and actual price came to $51,900

I voomed in on the stitching and it looks red to me. Glad they still kept black interior instead on the two tone, wasn't a favourite of mine

This might be off topic but a mate of mine has just offered me his old exhaust system that was on his Clubbie, he says it's a Genie Turbo 400. Would it be worth swapping for this instead of the bimodal exhaust in the VFII? would there be any power gain?

Hi timandhayley, is there a way I can tell if the parts I wanted fitted at HEC have actually been fitted there? I've asked for the sunroof to be fitted at HEC but on my order that I signed on Friday they listed the sunroof in non-genuine parts saying that the actual code for factory fitting...

How can the general customer know they are getting the accessories put on at the right location? I asked for black side vents and was quoted $100 by the dealer. Is there a HEC price list anywhere on the net?.........Can't trust a dealer
