Walkinshaw antenna

Has anyone installed a walkinshaw Smart antenna on there VF? If so do you lose any reception or anything from the factory one? I see there only $40 keen to get one..

The Mazda bee sting works a treat too. Got mine for $15 and its so much nicer looking than the OEM 'remote control car' one.

Yeah I swear they are getting longer.. I just want too make sure I dont lose anything by getting the walkinshaw one.

.. have one on the back of my GEN-F R8 tourer
no difference to the standard long one that I can tell

I don't use my SS daily and usually I have a cover over it. I take the antenna off the car when it's covered, and sometimes I don't bother to put it on when I use the car. The radio still works Ok without it.

Think I got my walkinshaw antenna for $25-$30 on eBay. Haven't tried it yet.

I have the stubby one from JHP, OK in inner Sydney most of the time but out West there is a notice drop off in reception compared to the stocker. Overall doesn't bother me as use Spotify and my iPhone most of the time.

yes... I tried a couple of the cheapies, should not have wasted the $
crackly and echoing.. especially in the CBD. The Walky does not do that...

Ive had the walkinshaw one for a year now and no problems at all
