    I have the Pacey 5387's monstar recommended into a hsv 2.5" mid section. The flanges sit around 15mm below the chassis and the cats a little lower again. They do sit tucked up and haven't yet scraped -stock height.

    Mechanical sound 'enhancer' removal

    Remove the plate that attaches to the firewall with the hose, secure it to something and go for a drive to see if you notice any change. I used a rubber Gromit siliconed to the inside of the plate as suggest by harrop / youngs performance here in Perth when I fitted an Otr. Mike

    Op - I agree with cuda also swap out sway bars. They remove easier on the v6's Big difference in body roll between fe2 and fe3 with just sway bar and shock damping changes. Drove my uncles redline again back to back last week.

    340 headers VF2

    I fitted pacemaker 5387's and had them linked too a gts 2.5" cat back. Cost for pipework / magnaflow 200cell 30deg angled cats $800. Similar sort of work if you do This with the 340 headers. Then you'll need a tune.
