Is the engine wiring harness in a VU the same as in a VY for the 6cyl

swapped out coils , leads and plugs, swapped dfi modal, compression test done it was ok

have a rough idle/miss. it all points to #1 cylinder. swapped out all the sensors bar oxygen and crank . checked for vac leaks , even a mechanic said it was a faulty #1 injector . So full set of injectors went in . Still no joy . cleaned the maf and swapped it out as well . cleaned the throttle...

yes the idle changes when removing other injector leads . Ill look into a leak down test . Thanks for all the info guys

No , no work to it prior to this problem . Removing #1 injector cable the idle dosent change , There already a full set of recon injectors . Will check all the earths and so on . A pic would be nice thanks . No I dont know how to test them at home. Could it be the ECU ??
