    Vs 3.8 harmonic balancer issues

Hey everyone So just today I’ve changed the CAS, figured it was the sensor because it’s a new dfi module and still wouldn’t start.. anyway followed a thread on here as to how to change it. Put the new sensor in and she started but now there’s an awful ticking noise. I’m not sure if it’s the...

[NSW] Vs fuel or ignition problems

Update Turns out the slip on joiner from the pump to the metal hard line inside the tank had deteriated enough so the pump was picking up fuel but spraying it back into the tank Some 5/16 line and two hose clamps fixed it right up Starts up just fine now, bit of noise in the engine bay but...

[NSW] Vs fuel or ignition problems

So with the tank out of the tub I can definitely hear the pump prime, the lines are the right way around. I think in my effort to twist the pump back in it’s come undone from the end of the pump to it’s hose (inside the tank) so it’s pumping fuel but not out of the tank. Do you think that sounds...

[NSW] Vs fuel or ignition problems

Update I’ve checked the error codes while waiting for the tow truck and I’ve either got error code 33 or 22 (flashes are a bit misleading) But these error codes are: 33- MAP sensor voltage too high (> 4.00 v). Possible vacuum leak to sensor or faulty sensor. 22: Throttle pos sensor below .2...

[NSW] Vs fuel or ignition problems

I can’t hear the fuel pump that’s what I’m thinking it is. The dfi and coil packs were cooked and had to be changed (throwing no spark). I unplugged the fuel line from the tank to the filter and turned it over and had nothing. I’m thinking there’s no power to the pump? How do I check for codes?
