I recommend that you now contact Holden Customer "Care" and ask for an "outcome letter" for this "concern."

Manual or auto? I was told by the dealership that the shaking only affected the auto because of the loading of the torque converter.

The battery in my VF II Calais V wagon was disconnected for 5 weeks while I was overseas. No issues upon reconnection apart from a few lost MyLink settings. After that trip I purchased a CTEK charger so I won't have to crawl over the back seat to reconnect the battery.
