Thanks. I could’ve bought a Maloo for the same price when I bought it. Regretted not doing so when the prices shot up but no regrets now. Taken around 6 years to get it where is now and very happy with it. When I bought it was meant to be run around and one thing led to another.

Here are some photos. Car looked a bit sedate with the senator rims. No so much now. I’ll have to update my profile photo. I might go back to senator rims. A guy does 18s-20s but wants money up front and a couple of month wait. No shop front made me wary.

My vs master was very soft even with the vs brakes. I have a decent cam in it so probably lack of vacuum. In most situations it was fine. I drove it with the VS master for 5 yrs after the engine got a few upgrades.

That should say new brakes not wheels...I ended up getting new wheels too because I had in my head sentor rims were 18" which is the minimum for the Willwoods....

I ended going Wilwood 6 piston front 4 piston rear with the VT master cylinder available on EBay. Brakes are great. Better than I’d hoped for. Look great too. Highly recommended if $$$ will allow.

Don’t mind paying the price if it’s genuine. Love the senator rim. I done a bit of research and only business I can find in Towoomba was AJ Courier service. Maybe their side hustle. They apparently only do commodore rims so you’d think someone on here would be familiar.

They have a FB page with updates and they have replied to previous messages. Have decided to go with black Simmons FR1. Will loose the sleeper look but think they’ll look good with the red callipers. Also Simmons nearly half the price and definitely real.

I asked for some more info on their business and no reply so I’ll give them a miss. I was hoping to stay with senator rims after upgrading my brakes but will have sell them and buy something else.

Has anyone purchased wheels through AJ Industries in Bendigo. They look like the do some good gear but only online ordering with no contact number which concerns me. They have a FB page which looks legit.

Castlemaine said they don't do the 4 piston Wilwood anymore for the front and only have the 6 piston option for the front and 4 piston for the rear. $4100. I asked about the booster and they didn't specifically say i needed to upgrade it but if I did they had the option available. Driftking...

Been doing a bit more research and Castlemaine do a 4 piston Wiilwood rear kit for Borg Warner. They also do a Wiilwood booster/master cylinder replacement They say it’s a good kit with firm brake feel. Has anyone heard anything on these? $495 and look pretty neat.

What are you concerns about legality? I haven’t gone that far into it. I thought you were holding off on the rears because you’re drifting. I emailed driftking but no reply. I’ll give them a call to follow up.

Thanks for the info. VT MC upgrade looks to be the popular way to go. My other issue may be vacuum. Cam is 235/242. Was thinking I may need a vacuum pump too??

I’m still looking at options. One of the forum members has fitted Wilwood which I’d like to do but it will depend on the budget. Getting to the time of year where Wagga has nice weather, for a couple of months anyway…

It reads fine then just drops off at 3000rpm. The first auto elec who installed the MSD stuffed up the install, long costly story….so I don’t have the instructions but sure easy enough to chase up on line. Although an aftermarket taco would be handy with the steering wheel obstructing the view...

I had an msd ignition and coil fitted to my vs ute and now the taco drops to 0 at 3000rpm. Can anyone suggest what may cause this.
