    popped the bonnet noticed coolant fluid had sprayed around , topped it up started the car for some observation when i noticed the hose was contracting see image . Vs commodore . Ive never seen this before , how to fix . cheers

    Thanks Trevor my car is a 98 but its a VS so its neither here nor there I always thought it was 98 its a series 2 , it probably says 97 on the compliance plate, anyway I think you may have found me the part ! it looks pretty much the same as the one that is on the car now excellent thank you...

    VS Ecotec V6 Commodore need to put new fuel pressure regulator on. The correct part is FPR-161 (fuelmiser) this part is out of stock everywhere . I found one on some dingy site but they want $258.00 that's without postage - everyone else is charging $150.00 but out of stock. maybe they dont...

    sealant for panel

    Thanks guys that's a heap of info , Im sure to find a solution in that. I think it is worth sealing good idea to seal cavities especially ones that only get a look in every 10 years or so . Be good to hinge the panel instead of screwing it in the spare area next to the tank would be a good place...

    Just took the fuel tank out of the vs ute to change the fuel pump and decided to do a bit of a clean up while the tank is out. What is used as a sealer (product name) on the edge under the screws that tub floor/access panel sits on above the tank . I need to replace it , its worn away .Cheers
