Anyone have any experience/knowledge on the Sonnax valve body zip kits and line pressure boost kits for the 6L80/6L90 transmissions? Are they worth installing?? Any transmission builders on here that can put their thoughts up? Cheers

Still the same when I start it in neutral and select drive or reverse from there. Seems to crank longer to fire up when it happens after a few times too. If it’s all tune related then I’m sure it will all get sorted. Just a little disappointing after spending so much money.. But in saying that...

Hey mate. The car drove fine with no stalling issues whatsoever until 3 days ago. Drives as normal in the mornings but every afternoon after it has been sitting in the sun all day and the ambient temperature is warmer it starts stalling when selecting drive/reverse. Just seems very odd..

Yep, first blower. I had a new Hurricane system installed as well with ceramic coated headers. I expected a lot more heat due to the upgrades but I guess I’m just thinking of anything at the moment that could cause this without being tune related. I spent 8 years as a mechanic before switching...

I’m sure they will sort it out. Just unfortunate the shop is closed down in January so will have to wait. I’m just wondering if anyone has come across this before as this intermittent issue is doing my head in. I plugged my scanner into today and no fault codes were logged..

Recently had my L77 rebuilt, Harrop 2300 supercharger and a stall converter fitted. Runs like a dream but the last 2 afternoons when the outside temp has been a little hot, the car will stall repeatedly when trying to select drive or reverse after starting up. Idle speed is around 850-900rpm...
