hey mate the cars coming along great and you got it in a good colour. the blue will really stand out in your interior if you grab some of that VHT vynil dye and paint all your interior black.

if you still havn't got to the starter motor, i'd recommend removing the tailshaft and the bell mouth to give yourself more room. and get it onto a hoist or above a pit... its amazing the way you can get your arms into wierd places when your standing under it.

thanks to a suggestion by hakhawk, i went and bought a belt for the VR without air con! easy! belt cost $40.50 though. well at least it's good enough till i can afford a new compressor

yer the only way i reckon an ss kit would look good is if it was moulded into the body to create a cleaner look. but like i said it doesn't need one. the plates are cool. the 9 is wierd ive never seen it used as a p before but its still pretty easy to work out.

nice car mate. very clean. that colour looks insane too. if you put a kit on it please do not put an ss kit on it they look like theyre just thrown on and cheap. if ur going to put a kit on go for a proper kit and change all the bumpers. but in my opinion it doesn't really need a kit, like you said.

considering your going with the black and yellow interior with a yellow paint job, i would go for a rim that is a simpler 5 spoke design, in a darker colour, either black or shadow chrome. will look insane when its finished. heres some links to rims that i think would look good...

well i got charged $200 to get a whole new mandrel bent section custom made and that is a rip off compared to other people. so the little peice of pipe should cost close to nothing. If you are only after a foot you should be able to even find a cut off or chop up someone elses old 2.5.
