right, like you told me ruby sounds like a grandma's car

She does. But, she won't after I get an exhaust for her. After I get the windows tinted.

I've actually been thinking bout putting the rest of the stereo aside and getting the windows tinted instead. Aaaarghhhhh...I dunno...Or I could get a decent set of rims...Or her exhaust.... Oh choices! Choices! Choices!! :p

ive been watching this one since u got it. its coming along great. i wouldn't bother with the tint yet, people rarely notice it. get the exhaust or rims, thats what people notice. if you want a really cheap way to give the car a deeper note just remove the resonator and weld in an extra bit of pipe. costs u nothing except for a peice of pipe! depending on what rim size your looking for and your budget, you should be able to find a decent set cheap at the wreckers or a second hand tyre shop. ive seen VR clubby rims with tyres all in good condition go for $350-$400

good luck with it! cant wait to see it finished.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I reckon I'll go with second hand wheels, sounds stupid I know, but I don't really like any of the newer styles of rims. They look way to tacky for me. I'm more of an old school gril. If I had my way I'd have a set of Dragway Indys on her!!! :p

I have been thinking bout doing the exhaust myself, as I have to get under her and fix a bracket that I snapped when reversed out of a friends driveway back in Tassie. But, I still don't know!

I've done a lot of thinking lately and I've decided that after I get Ruby's 160,00km engine and transmission service, I'm going to tint her windows. The stereo can wait. It's good enough as it is. So look out for tint within the next month!
