going to buy a brand new battery soon but seems to have worked

FOUND A FIX!!!!! - What happens is the battery starts to die and doesnt supply enough voltage to power the IPC which stores SRS configuration information, but still powers the SDM module which also stores the info. Because the SDM cant talk to the IPC, its sets a code "configuration mismatch"...

And why would it still produce faults?

The car was listed 'as is' so theres nothing i can do about that

Not too sure what has happened to the car before me, as i bought it from a used car yard, i dont think its been in any crashes as there is no damage to the car

My SRS light is on in my 2005 VZ, ive bought a Vident iLink400au scanner and the error code it has given me is "P161 - configuration mismatch (to instruments)" does anyone know a fix?

Bit late but, I have a Vident Link400au and the SRS light is on, the error code it is giving me is "161 - Configuration Mismatch (to instruments)" do you know any fixes?
