its basically the same as the holden one with HSV on it. i have a genuine holden V6 S/C CAI in my VR that i got with a K&N panel filter. Bought it from coventrys for $160 the lot, took 15 minutes to fit (and im not really mechanically minded!) love it to bits, cant go wrong :dance:

nice ride mate! that chrome intake pipe really makes the engine bay...the clean you gave it helps it out alot also, i've been threatening to do this to mine for weeks but hasnt happened yet :P how did you do it and how long did it take you?? VN2NV, i declare a thumb war for the intake pipe...

the first pic shows CV8R's very sleek looking rims and and the difference between those and the VX GTS rims are the slit in the spoke... those rims from ebay look cheap and i believe that genuine's are well worth the extra money as they look ten billion times better!

look for VX GTS rims in 18" because the spokes go all the way out to the full rims edge...look mad on VR's too:)

Dont let ur insurance company stand in the way of what u want ur car to be like, there are heaps of insurance companies out there and companies like "just car" will cover ur car pretty much no matter what! dont limit urself to other people's expectations

king spring lows dont lower ur car all that much... but will improve i guess bigger rims will be great and the Grange front will look NUTS!!! wagons are very underestimated in the looks department, should be a killer wagon when its done :thumbsup:

Hey guys, thanks heaps for ur input! so i did both things, looked under the car, and only saw the thick extensions from the diff. After this i jumped in, put my foot on the brake and accelerator (i know you said not to rev it too hard, but i couldnt help myself :p) and there was no sqwat/drop...

Great work on the car man, looks schweet as ay! kit looks good, just needs to be lowered now to help with the look. as for rims, yer ROH fury's are very common now... VY GTS rims really do suit VR/VS's as well as VX GTS rims... as Vn2nV said...go bigger than 17's

yer i dont think it does... how do you check if it has IRS or not?

ok so a mate of mine is looking to get a new exhaust and has offered for me to have his old one (Lukey with straight through pipe), but i am unsure as to whether it will swap from a VS exec to a VR berlina because of the different motors...or will this not be a problem? cheers

lack of time, motivation, energy (after work i tend to be quite lazy), resources, and most inportantly co-ordination prevent me... but i guess could be something i would look into if no other results appear
