Hi all, has any one experimented with replacing their lead acid starter battery with a lithium version? Becoming popular in the 4wd space but I haven’t seen anything mentioned about doing it in a VE/VF. Would save lugging a second battery to run the fridge! Cheers

I find the same in my RSV wagon. I also find it takes a few second to get into drive one D is selected. I plan on getting all my concerns documented in writing to the dealer before warranty runs out just in case

Just a very slight whine that increases with revs and disappears when off throttle I had a similar whine in Opel Astra I had with the M21 gearbox, they were known for it and it indicated gearbox wear, I’m paranoid it’s something similar

Thanks mate, I have had Harrop and Difillipo in my time, I love the raspy sound of the Kooks- i reckon i am looking for that kind of sound over the deep Difilippo sound.

My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that wagon, ute and sedan with no rear brembos have the flanged sections, whereas redline and the limiteds got the other style.

I did the same to my walkingstick/dpe mufflers- works a treat and I can creep home quietly without ratting my neighbours house, turn the driver preference dial in my “sticker pack” calais and the noise comes back

I lowered mine myself with an ex holden Mate, king springs, sl front, ssl rear, absolutely no problems at all, looks killer and makes the package even better. You do not need to buy mrc specific king springs, do not let anyone tell you so, they are for hsv mrc, not holden

Plus it sounds fkn great
