The gearbox in the V8's (T56) takes DX3 ATF but the getrag box in the V6's takes 75W-85. Hope this helps.

Could be the starter motor on the way out. Had a similar problem where if I was driving it everyday it would sometimes struggle in the mornings and be fine after that. Didn't drive it for a week and it really started to struggle. Replaced starter motor and problem solved.

I've got dba cross drilled and slotted rotors with bendix pads on my VZ and they stop really well, highly recommended. Front pads - Bendix GCT Disc Pads DB1765GCT Rear pads - Bendix GCT Disc Pads DB1766GCT I found these guys were competitive with price and really helpful

100w is probably drawing a bit too much for headlights. I'd try to find some 55w versions, I think you'll find they're the same wattage as the ones in there at the moment.

Your local auto parts store should have 'wheel paint' in an aerosol can. You can use that if you want the cheaper option.

They certainly did do a manual S pack. I've got one. I don't think they did a Manual Supercharged version though.

According to my mechanic it is my CV joint. I'll be replacing it soon and I'll report on how it went.

Not sure if it does it in reverse.. and yeah it doesn't do it when the foot is off the accelerator going slow, pretty sure anyway. It's due for a service anyway so I'll take it to my mechanic later on this week and he can check it out.

It's several knocks every time I accelerate, both straight and going around a bend. Doesn't happen when I take my foot of the accelerator.

It's not just a small knock, it's quite loud which is why I'm worried about it. What diff oil would you recommend? And what is the additive?

Yeah it is an LSD. Nope didn't put the oil in myself got the local Tyrepower to do it during the service when I first bought it. Not sure if they put the additive in. Cheers.

I recommend the Redback systems, I have one on my VX and it gives out a great note, with no drone and it's not over the top loud. I also get better fuel economy.

I think you need a whole new LSD diff. Not 100% sure though.

Thanks again, I'll probably do it one day when I'm bored as I didn't install the head unit and I don't feel like undoing everything to get to the back of it.
