The VY i used to own had the same problem. Now the VZ i own also had the same problem but was fixed by holden both times with the tech 2 update loaded on.

I just done the 2 hole mod to my vz and i didn't worry about it being legal or illegal but it has a good roar when i accelerate. :thumbsup:

I went to the holden website and emailed customer service with the VIN or you can ring them on 1800 033 349 I had an answer in 24 hrs. :)

I checked out the service book ( yes it has one )and all the services have been done every 15000km at holden or a service centre. And as for the trucks it depends on what zone you are in...

I have just bought a ex new south wales rural fire service VZ (nsw police spec) and it has the same problem with the alarm not working on the doors. Bonnet & boot alarm work fine i am going to contact a guy who services the police cars and see what he comes up with.
