I run a 2.5 inch exhaust with no rear muffler not really loud at all and has a nice note to it. If you get one with the rear muffler it'll be nearly as quiet as a stock exhaust Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

have an issue with a 97 model VT Calais V6 if you have the A/C or vents on the dash and or floor on when you accelerate it changes to the dimister vents then returns to the dash/floor vents when at a steady speed or completely off the gas. any idea's what it could be and how to fix it?

another quick question. can the nozzled be changed on the gun to a 2.0mm?

thanks for the reply's guys. i was given a brand new 1.4mm hvlp gravity feed gun but it can't be exchanged due to being out of the packaging. if the nozzle is to small could i just add more thinners to the paint mix?

so what sized nozzle does everyone use to spray a standard grade metallic acrylic paint?

fix your earth make sure all wires and connections are fine. is earthing fine when cold but when heated up it is breaking the connection by sounds of it. (the earth from battery to the inner guard did this on mine a while ago 12 buck fix from supercheap for another lead)

well made a little progress with the strip down today.

doubt the budget will stretch to a 454 but hopefully a nice 308 is in the budget

wow forgot all bout this thread. we still have the hz not much has changed apart from something went and started making strange noises in the motor last year so seens it was almost out of rego anyway it has just sat in the shed since last october. we are just about to start pulling her down...

if the cat is blocking up the car will start to run hotter than normal specially under high load conditions. check ebay can get hi-flow 2.5 inch or 3 inch cats for 200 to 250.

replace cat with a hi-flow (as putting pipe through it is illegal) and just get another 2.5" cat back system off ebay whole lot will set you back round 400 i think.
