Did the VF S1 SS-V Redline come with an XForce Catback from the factory?

Dunno where I got that idea from then. Thanks for the replies guys.

Did the VF S1 SS-V Redline come with an XForce Catback from the factory?

As I'm writing it sounds like a stupid question, but my S1 Redline (bought second hand) has an XForce Catback, and I thought I had read somewhere that was the stock exhaust that they came with, but yesterday someone told me otherwise and now I can't find anything to back it up, apart from the...

    Opening boot with Rear Wing

Maybe I misunderstood what others have said (going off some other threads as well). So no one has the big wing and a boot lid that opens fully just with the remote? Like 426Cuda said, it would be handy to have it open fully by itself. On the plus side, my Redline is 5 years old as well but the...

    Opening boot with Rear Wing

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but can you or anyone post the part number for the stronger gas struts? I've got the spoiler and my boot only opens about a quarter as well. The numbers on my struts are 92294267 and 753410331 (both numbers on a single strut - not sure which is the part number)...

    VF BCU flash for TPMS

Thanks for the update and for explaining that TazzI. Yep sounds like I'm due for a road trip.

    VF BCU flash for TPMS

Bump. I've been looking for somewhere as well, but so far haven't found anyone in NSW who can do it. Envyous Customs say they're looking for a remote option (http://www.envyouscustoms.com/whats-new/), but there hasn't been an update in a while. I'm thinking I might just have to find an excuse...

Maxxis Tyres: just bad or is there something wrong with mine?

The suspension is stock, so it's not that either... And here are the Alignment sheets, as I said they look ok to me, but don't know a lot about it. The toe settings are positive at least...

Maxxis Tyres: just bad or is there something wrong with mine?

I don't have them with me at the moment, so I'll put them up in a few days.

Maxxis Tyres: just bad or is there something wrong with mine?

What pressure are other people who haven't had problems running them at? I'll try putting them up a bit more, but 50 psi seems a bit much.

Maxxis Tyres: just bad or is there something wrong with mine?

No, I didn't have a wheel alignment when I got them, but they have checked the alignment twice since then, and both times said everyone was ok. I do have the two print outs which to me look ok, although slightly different between the two, but I'm no expert. It looks like they made some slight...

Maxxis Tyres: just bad or is there something wrong with mine?

I bought a set of 235/45/17 Maxxis MA-V1 tyres for my VY S in October last year after reading good things about them on here and other sites, but ever since I got them, they haven't felt right. I have now done 7000 - 8000 Ks on them. I have taken the car back to the tyre place several times...

    Installing a higher level BCM

I'm glad someone thinks that. I wasn't going to say anything cause I thought everyone would just say don't do it, but I still want to convert my car to the climate control and other extras. The way I would do it is to get a cheap car to get around in, and then slowly work on the VY without...

    Installing a higher level BCM

Yep, that's exactly why I went for the S, but of course I didn't think about the fact that I would want all the extra features later.

    Installing a higher level BCM

Ok thanks for that, you've answered my question, so obviously I won't be trying to change it now.

    Installing a higher level BCM

I was thinking just that earlier today, maybe I should... Anyway I was hoping that this would be a simple thing to change, but it sounds like it's not, so I won't worry about it. Thanks everyone for your help.

    Installing a higher level BCM

I don't have the head unit yet, so I didn't know that the aerial didn't work at all. I've heard in other threads that the BCM still plays a part in the aerial control because it remembers what height it was at last. No the head unit doesn't have iPod connectivity, but there is a kit...

    climate control question

Unfortunately it's not as easy as changing the panel. I want to do this to my VY as well, but apparently there are lots of extra bits needed for the climate control to work. Check out some of the 'similar threads' at the bottom of this page for more information.

    Installing a higher level BCM

The lower model VY's have speed sensitive wipers, but the Berlina and Calais have adjustable intermittent wipers, so it can be really slow, or pretty much as fast as when the wipers are on constantly. On the wiper stalk, there is an extra bit that turns to adjust it which isn't in the lower...

    Installing a higher level BCM

Ok, the BCM does come with one remote, and I should be able to just screw my current key to the new remote. Which manual do you have? I have the Max Ellery one which does have wiring diagrams but they aren't very useful, and it also has a section on BCMs which basically says you can't change it...

    Installing a higher level BCM

Yeah my car has the Mid level BCM, and the one I found on eBay is the Hi level (from a Calais). So I just need to know if it can be plugged straight in, or whether that will cause problems. I would have thought that a higher level BCM would do everything plus more, but it could be that it is...

    Installing a higher level BCM

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading the BCM in my VY S to allow for adjustable intermittent wipers and adjustable aerial on an upgraded head unit, and I'm just wondering if it's as simple as installing a new BCM, or if there's more involved. Has anyone done this? I couldn't find much info on it. I've...
