I'm close to starting a build of an model a styled hotrod with commodore running gear. I'd prefer to use a v6 and not a v8 and I'd like some info please. Is a vn auto box more reliable than later models due to not having internal solenoids? What are the weaknesses of v6 auto...

I'm considering hot rodding my 2wd hilux with a v6 and auto. :dance: I'm thinking of dropping a commodore diff in so the entire drive train will be commodore. But I want to keep the hilux 5 bolt pattern on the wheels (which is the same as ford 5 bolt pattern.) I'm looking for opinions about...

I'm going to drop a v6 into my hilux for reliability reasons. Is LPG worthwhile on the commodore v6's? Anything special to consider? Is Straight gas better than dual fuel?
