I had a good offer to sell the project last week. He has come good and paid for it in full so I have sold it and I will pull the build thread shortly.

So with a few other projects finished now, I have got this build out of storage and cracking on with it again. I will be painting the underside and engine bay over the next weeks and get it back rolling on its race suspension setup. I'll post pics as it progresses.

Hi mate, I just got the biggest rims I could fit, purpose designed and built for the car. Not cheap, or easy and took 5 months from when I paid for them, until I finally recieved them. Made one-off by a Japanese race wheel manufacturer. Good luck mate.

Big rims are best! IMO big diameter rims arent the problem, its cheap tacky chinese and japanese rims styles that look **** on Seies 1's and those ones you fitted prove it. The new 19" Aero's look great on, I have 19x 9.5" ssw's on my Walky and 18x11"s on my VK and general opinion is the rims...

Not sure where all this "springs will sag" idea comes from? Springs dont sag or at least good ones dont! And certainly not 1/2" or more. Lowered springs are generally stiffer in rate so are less likely to sag. The only time I have ever heard of springs sagging is when people heat them to lower...

Soda blast it, does not leave a profile on the plastic. only removes the paint and you will only need to clean it thoroughly, prime, rub and paint it.

Fitted the new engine harness yesterday and it is perfect. Timed it up and got oil pressure up and it fired up perfectly. Will get the engineer to sign it off now and I can register it finally and get some miles on it.
