piks... _______-

I'm getting it running today and ready for a w/alignment next week, I will take some pictures and post up here later today.
Been a big build since starting it last March and my Walkinshaw and Group C Race car had been shelved this past year while I concentrated on this one. Both of them are at the first stages of paint and all body work is finished and in primer so they wont take long to complete now either.

The car is done and ready to run.
I am still waiting for my electrician to finish the engine loom replacement and fitting it up for final testing etc.
Once thats done I am ready to get oil pressure and run the engine up.
I fitted up the cold air tray last week and decided I could not run it. It shrouds the air cleaner too much and has a large hump in the front to clear the fan shroud.
I have fitted an electric twin fan setup so the hump does not need to be there so I have made a new tray pattern, which is flat with 100mm more width in the air cleaner area to allow better air flow to the entire filter surface.
I am pulling a mould off it now and by the end of next week I will make a Carbon Fibre cold air tray from that and fit it to the Group C.
This is gonna look hot in carbon fibre with the cars Blue/Black colour scheme and will add a more race oriented theme to the engine bay finish.

Sorry mate, unless you come to New Zealand you probably wont get to see it any time soon.
I am not intending to bring it across there at all.
Cheers

Fitted the new engine harness yesterday and it is perfect.
Timed it up and got oil pressure up and it fired up perfectly.
Will get the engineer to sign it off now and I can register it finally and get some miles on it.

Just back from a holiday on the Gold Coast and uncovered the car ready to get some more done this weekend.
Bought a set of HDT head lamp covers and fitted em up, looks **** hot and finishes off the front end.
V8 rev counter is being done, it will be ready to pick up and install the gauges cluster again early next week.
Some new speakers are going in today and a good spanner check from front to back before I get in for a wheel alignment next week.
