incorrect as some are the same. i should have been more specific in my post. A 5 hdd from a vs (13 pin) should be totally interchangeable with a 6hdd and a 7hdd. However a 5hdd from a vr (12 pin) is not the same and would not be interchangeable without loom and computer modifications

little bit of a dig but is the mace 70mm throttle body worth it on a 355 stroker running the standard manifold or is the standard 65mm throttle body sufficient? thinking about the 70mm for my VS Senator

try and find a 5hdd, 6hdd or 7hdd. that way your not going to run into any surprises and it should be a simple swap and drive deal

spent all weekend putting a new gearbox in got another 4l60e rebuilt with transgo stage 2 kit and billet servo as well as some other goodies drove awesome for a day then i blew the head gasket on the drivers bank!!! f***

my old clubsport hasd the wing replaced by an s pac boot lip the lower weight of the small lip made my boot open so easy. id pull the lever and it would open right up all on its on...was awesome!!

just a heads up that some of the fibreglass replica kits are quite weak and dont fit without a little bit of tweaking if i was you id be looking for something genuine as the plastic tends to flex and bend (where as the fibreglass just cracks)

use some fishing line...thats how i got mine off...wasnt easy tho

the engine had started to ping a fair bit and i had started using octane booster. anyway today had some small leaks fixed and mentioned the pinging to the builder he checked the base timing and we found that it was at 0 degrees which we thought was weird adjusted it back to 10 degrees advanced...

ive read that you should go trans cooler first then radiator as the radiator will heap heat the tranny fluid on a cold start. thats how the transmission place did mine

only managed a best of 13.8. Traction wasnt really an issue. Gearbox kept changing late into third which was hurting my time a little

alright chucked in a coil i had lying around and the problem was still there. so im leaning towards the module. would a faulty module be worse when cold or warm cus the car is undriveable cold. have to feather the throttle to keep it running and is almost normal when warmed up i thought...

what does everyone think i pulled the plugs and they look fine...so im going to leave them...all earths are good im thinking its one of the follwing coil dizzy ignition module my problem is that all three of these are less than a year old anyone got another ideas?

ITEM: Made this surround using wood, plastic cement and fibreglass. It looks really neat (you would think its a factory item). Included in the sale is the water temp gauge, voltage gauge and the temp sender. I will also thow in an oil pressure gauge of the same style. however i have misplaced...

alright had something else happen today.... basically packing from my new mufflers started exiting the exhaust....and now the car is louder and rattles and squeaks took it back to the exhaust shop and basically the walker mufflers just werent up to the job of the stroker im getting some lukey...

ahhh just had a major scare with the car was sitting at the lights and started to smell burning plastic....10 seconds go by and smoke starts appearing from the engine bay! i panic and turn the car off...at this point everyone at the lights is like wtf?? this dudes car is on fire! haha opened...

the torque and power will be mostly decided by cam, compression ratio and head work i would have thought...those things with a good manifold and free flowing exhaust

i put a lunati cam in my 355 but its running stock manifold. its an incredible cam for low down power...its pretty much a crane 286 with .005 more lift on both exhaust and intake

went for a ride in his new supra last week....it is ridiculous....the power comes on so strong. never been in anything that quick! my eyeballs are still wide open

if your on the east coast id say 3k would be a fair price If your in WA like me youd be looking at nearer to 5k

no point upgrading injectors until youve done some more serious work mate...would be a waste of money

door handles would look good painted....maybe save up and do some engine/tranny work?
