yes a set of adjustable camber/ caster tops will sort out the excess camber issue. i personally like the kmac stage two adjustable tops. offer heaps of adjustmend camber and caster , easy to adjust too
glad to here you found some one who was willing to do there job and fix it properly. be much better to drive, im sure you will enjoy driving much more now.
the positive camber at +0.23 on the lhf plus the toe in will always cause the outside edge to scrub out
. its an easy enough fix for any alignment shop who isn't to lazy to do his job correctly. make jax set it correctly or take it to some one who cares about the quality of there work and...
very much likely smooth the engine bay a little, not going extreme with it just tidy unused holes and repaint so it just looks clean again,
wont start work till end of September as i have holidays in September and i wanna drive it alot.
havent had a chance to start working on the vp yet, everytime i get home from work it has been cold and dark so iv been very unmotivated with starting the bigger jobs
been i want to pull motor and box out and paint the engine bay, also repaint the body too
Bloody good deal on the calais. And very impressive 13:721down the 1/4.
My manual vp v6 with spooled 3.08 gears managed a best of 16.036 @ 138kms at willow bank queensland.
Keep up the good work and enjoy it
does that mean a ls1 in a vp would be a bad idea?? lol i think they really do just stop noise and vibrations( more of a comfort thing). but if fe2 can be found use them if they suit your needs.
I didnt run upper or lowwer spring rubbers for years.
Never had issues with springs falling out. May have mad noises due to been spring too metal mount, but car is too loud to hear minor noises
finally ran at test and tune @ willowbank best run was a 16.036 full trim and stereo spare tools and tyres in back seat.
time slip.
waiting

U still have to have the car sitting above 100mm while on the rd or public property.
Bugger that sucks been a local cop
go for it mate. im not sure how illeagle the reverse lights are due to been mounted out of the tail light area.
might be able to drill anothe mounting hole in the clear zone and use the clear area for indercators and reverse?
thanks mate.
the wagon tail lights are aftermarket clear ones with night shade red top bottom.
i have modified the tailight loom to suit so that the set up works like vp s1 sedan(stop and tail lights top and bottom. indercator in the middle, clear with orange globs
the reverse lights are in...

iv still been lazy with both of these, the wagon has just been clocking up work trips, on the up side it is back on 17's so it sticks to the rd a bit better again.
